Every year, CIS and EES conduct team placements in the Spring and forms teams in August. The annual competition season runs from August through late February to early March.

CIS offers teams for all nationally non-qualifying levels of skaters, while EES offers teams for all nationally qualifying levels of skaters. The table below details the requirements for each team level.
